Summary of my info for my wikipedia topic

Pigs can be used for multiple reasons such as meat, leather, bristles for certain brushes, and muliple medical products. Over the years pigs have become known as gross and/or stupid, but recent intelligence tests have shown that not only are they intelligent but that (domesticated) pigs are more intelligent than all domestic animals even smarter than dogs. Pigs are distantly related to hippopotammuses. All pigs are omnivores meaning that they eat plants and small amimals. Most domestic pigs however are feed diets of corn, grain, root, and tuber crops, dairy by-products, and commercial feeds. Male pigs are called boars, castrated boars are called barrows. Afemale pig is a gilt untill she has babies then she is called a sow. There have been at least 377 breeds of pigs raised. Some of the main types of domesetic pigs are Landrace, Berkshire, Chester White, Duroc, Hampshire, and a Yorkshire. All pigs belong to the family Suidae, pigs are found all over the world on every continent and most countries.
There have been two major ways that pigs have been raised over the years. One way is pen rearing, the keeping of pigs encosed in pens. The second way of raising pigs is where the pig is allowed to roam free, where it can scavenge for food and root wherever it wishes. The second method is primarily practiced in Third World countries.

wikipedia

My topic is pigs, used as livestock. I know this may seem like a totally random stub to choose to most of you but it means a lot to me. I grew up on a farm in a little town called Royal, Ar. it is just right outside of Hot Springs and is like a mile from lake Ouachita. If you ever have the chance you should visit royal it is very pretty and is mostly just farms and open pastures. On our farm we raised many types of animals from rabbits and chickens to cows and horses. I loved living on a farm it never bothered me to work I simply loved everything about it. My favorite thing that we raised was pigs, they are super friendly animals and also extremly intelligent. My dad always told me that they are smater than dogs so that is one thing that I am going to make sure to look up. I hope that I can show everyone how interesting these fun loving animals are. Keep checking my blog and I will make sure to invlove interesting facts about pigs so you too can learn interesting new things about them.

Just some info about me and my life!

1.)I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are...
People who try and tell me how I should live my life, what profession I should have, who I should be with. Those are all my decisions and I do not like when other people try to make them for me. I like to have help so that I can better understand situations but all I want is help not for it to be done for me. I want to earn what I have so that I will respect it for what it is, and understand the importance of working for my goals. I also hate when people act like abortion is ok and is an ok option as birth control. Because it is NOT. It is a person no matter how far its lungs have developed or if it can breath on its own. We were all at that stage in our lives when we were fully dependant and some of us still haven't grown out of it. I know I haven't, I still need my mom for stuff everyday. You could say it is acceptable if that is the only way the mother can live but then still I think it could be questionable. Killing is not ok and just because you decide to have un-protected sex with your boyfriend is not a good reason to kill another person. Abortion is wrong and always will be in my book.
2.)Something I learned from the last person I dated is...
No one deserves to be treated badly. Everyone deserves that someone who absolutly adores them for just being themself. No matter what the circumstance every one should be treated with respect becasue without it there is no way you can have a meaningful realationship. Realationships also cannot be one sided it takes two people to work at a realationship it is impossible if there is only one person carrying the load. So always trust and respect in a relationship and just fall in love its really not a hard fall if you have someone to catch you.
3.)It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm...
in sunday school silly! I love my church and sunday school starts at 10 but I am usually late so it would probably be more acurate to say at 10 that I am in my car racing to church!
4.)When I die, I believe I will go...
To be with all my family and friends in that great place referred to as heaven.
5.)Something people keep buying me for gifts and I never use is...
Sweet pea lotion for some reason my family thinks I love sweet pea stuff and i really secretly hate it but I just can't make myself tell them I don't lilke it!
6.)One sport I will never get is...
Tennis, geez.... it is just so complicating. You go from having 15 points to 30 then to 40 it just doesn't make sense and if you don't serve it to the right place you don't get a point. It is just all too confusing for me!
7.)When I was a kid, I actually owned a...
Glow worm! I slept with it for years, and I loved it. But one day when i was like 6 my family was going to church and I talked my mom into letting me take it to church with me, and when I got out of our car i dropped in a puddle of water. I cried FOREVER and even after replaced batteries and multiple waches it didn't look the same and it wouldn't play the song any more. It was devestating for me at my fragile age of six but i'm over it. (although I have asked for one for christmas like a thousand times I guess my mom just thinks I am too old for one, but what does she know? lol)

Plagiarism the scary reality

http://www.indiana.edu/~wts/pamphlets/plagiarism.shtml
http://turnitin.com/research_site/e_what_is_plagiarism.html
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=Plagiarism

Plagiarism as defined by Webster is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. Although the definition is in fact very true, it does not truly capture all that there should be said about this topic. Plagiarizing work is not only wrong it also restrains you from growing as a writer. Your professor is not interested in how well someone in a different city, state, or country writes they want to see your ability as writer so that they can instruct you on how to grow in your writing style and ability. But another main part of this problem is that when a student chooses to plagiarize work it is not as though they are borrowing the work, it really is closer to stealing work. No matter what your background all students have been taught growing up that stealing is wrong. So one wonder why all of a sudden students would just forget their teachings and begin to steal work. No matter what the circumstances plagiarism is wrong and as a student I understand and respect that and will always take the responsibility and do my own work.
